Berry Talons

Lore:

Berry is a survivalist and former Eagle Scout who proudly earned merit badges and lived by a code of honor, nature, and resourcefulness. As one of the two protagonists in "A Tale of Two Friends," Berry spent the campaign unwittingly traveling with his father, Regy, who was secretly guiding him to manhood. In a time-travel arc, Berry met Regy in the past and helped him win over his Aarakocra mother. Berry eventually discovered the truth of his parentage in the final episode. His disciplined nature is often at odds with the chaos of Randomonia, yet he's beloved.

Regy

  • Origin Campaign: A Tale of Two Friends
  • Race/Class/Level: Human Rogue (Level TBD)
  • Player: Conner
  • Character Sheet: Pending

Lore:

Regy is a reverse rogue, known for planting dangerous items in people’s pockets instead of stealing from them. Bombs, poisons, and chaos often follow him. His catchphrase: "Check your pockets." Throughout "A Tale of Two Friends," Regy covertly mentored his son, Berry Talons, without revealing their familial connection. His flirtatious and hypersexual personality comes with the caveat that he finds humans repulsive—he's only attracted to non-humanoid species. He wears an eyepatch after losing an eye protecting Berry's mother from raiders. Regy is unpredictable, inappropriate, and secretly noble beneath his sleaze.

Jackhole Jones

Lore:

Jackhole started as a side character who would follow the superhero PCs around, protesting their existence. He believed magic was brain-infecting nonsense and shouted conspiracy theories from the sidelines while sleeping on public transit. Jackhole believes he runs a podcast called "Frank and Beans," though it's actually just him ranting into a rock. His unshakable paranoia hides a surprising knack for survival. He distrusts magic, avoids mutants, and is somehow still alive. Though mostly comic relief, Jackhole occasionally stumbles into moments of brilliance.

Violet Femms

Lore:

Once the Strong Woman of the Witchlight Carnival, Violet now protects lost children in the Feywild. A devout paladin with a Southern drawl and big-smash energy, she brings both violence and maternal warmth wherever she goes. She killed her own father to prevent him from conquering the Feywild. She is currently in a romantic relationship with another Carnival woman. Violet is a queen of smite, sass, and sanctuary.

Dumford

  • Origin Campaign: Improv Quest (TBD Main Campaign)
  • Race/Class/Level: Mountain Dwarf Sorcerer (Level 5)
  • Player: Slade
  • Character Sheet

Lore:

Dumford is the eternally divorced, horse-racing sorcerer of Randomonia. He has been through more breakups than most people have birthdays. Some of those breakups were resolved through dungeon-crawling legal disputes. He is a father or stepfather to many, some of whom he doesn’t even know exist. Fizz wants Dumford to be his dad. Dumford says, firmly and repeatedly, "No."

Bomblin Barlo

Lore:

Bomblin is a lovable chaos gremlin and professional barbarian with a gambling problem. He owns Bomblin’s Ruff Riders Gambling Hall, rebuilt the Flail and Ale tavern, and accidentally became the manager of the goblin metal band Metalomnicon. He rides a griffon named Sweet Roll and prefers smashing problems over solving them. Despite his absurdity, Bomblin is loyal and surprisingly effective in battle and business—though mostly by accident.

Ronald BonBon Billsworth

Lore:

Ronald is the powdered-wig-wearing, arrogant, lawful evil heir to the Billsworth Shipping Company. After being given one last chance by his father to lead, he crash-landed his ship in the Astral Sea. Ronald is hyper-focused on legacy, profit, and image, despite being deeply incompetent. His crew includes Echo, Magnis, Percival, and Flapjack. He insists on formality and insists harder on blaming others for his failures.

Fizz

  • Origin Campaign: Improv Quest (TBD Main Campaign)
  • Race/Class/Level: Kenku Artificer (Level 6)
  • Player: Turk
  • Character Sheet

Lore:

Fizz grew up on the brutal streets of Fifth Street in Port Pendulum. He began crafting alchemical potions to survive, supplying the slum with everything from healing draughts to flammable cocktails. Now, he is infamous for his love of fire and his high-altitude bomb drops—despite being afraid of heights. He longs for a parental figure and has latched onto Dumford as a potential father, though Dumford strongly rejects him. Fizz is clever, energetic, and tragically optimistic.

Cookie

  • Origin Campaign: Improv Quest (TBD Main Campaign)
  • Race/Class/Level: Kobold Artificer (Level 5)
  • Player: Kate
  • Character Sheet

Lore:

Cookie is the founder of the Kobold Therapy Network, a movement of food-named kobolds who offer emotional support across Randomonia. She is small, wild, and completely convinced she’s the strongest warrior alive. Her sessions sometimes involve hugs, explosions, or both. She also collects thumbs and toes from slain monsters as emotional "souvenirs." Cookie is a staple of the Tall Tail Tavern, equal parts therapist and menace.

Roger rageface rageface rageface

Lore:

Roger is the lead singer of the goblin metal band Metal Omnicon. He’s arrogant, filthy, selfish, and obsessed with his own fame. His catchphrase: "It’s pee-pee time." Originally from a modern setting, Roger has since been fantasy-converted and now performs concerts in taverns, ruins, and war zones. He has never changed his underwear or showered. Bomblin is technically his manager. Roger doesn’t believe in management.

Magnus Volcaneris

Lore:

Magnus is a proud, powerful Giff Ranger with a commanding presence and a flair for the dramatic. He serves as the first mate aboard Ronald BonBon Billsworth’s spelljamming ship. A loyal yet no-nonsense presence among the crew, Magnus often acts as a stabilizing force when Ronald's antics get out of hand. While he rarely reveals personal details, his stern demeanor hides a deep well of magical knowledge and battlefield experience.

Lord Percival WhiskerBottom

  • Main Campaign Playlist: Spelljammer Adventures (TBD)
  • Race/Class/Level: Space Hamster Rogue/Sorcerer (Level 6)
  • Player: Slade
  • Character Sheet

Lore:

Percival is a space hamster entrepreneur from the Rock of Bral. He wears a top hat, boasts a luxurious mustache, and peddles pyramid schemes wherever astral winds take him. Despite his obsession with wealth and self-branding, he is surprisingly capable and magically gifted. He is a proud member of Ronald's Spelljammer crew, where he balances combat, charisma, and tax fraud.

Tilly the Wizard

Lore:

Tilly was once a bright-eyed Brimstone student. A hundred years later, she’s a flirty, magically unstable old woman determined to uncover the truth behind the Arcane Furnace and fire spirits of her youth. She now travels the realm researching magical corruption and hitting on men decades younger than her. Do not underestimate her—she has survived students, curses, explosions, and herself.
